This review is from: Sigma 18-250mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM IF Lens for Sigma Digital SLR Cameras (Electronics) Great lens to use as an all purpose lens, I'm using it with travel. The HSM (Hypersonic motor)is much quieter than earlier versions of lenes with HSM. Focus is fast in single and continuous, OS is working as it should, colors are vibrant with little correction needed, little sharpness is needed. I've been a Sigma fan since the SD9, with having all the SD series of cameras- and with the SD15 this is a great addition - looking forward to the SD1!! Thanks Sigma! Noticing two "issues" (hope it's normal) 1. There appears to be a loose part inside both copies of lens. There is a very small movement with clicking sound when i shake it "very very gently". Is this normal? Are you guys experiencing this on yours? 2. The Zoom barrel gets very stiff from about 70mm-130mm UPDATE: I decided to return this due to small aperture resulting in not so great shots in poor lighting.
